I had this teacher once at SVA that would give rants about symmetry being evil.... really admired his ocd-ness, the way he would align his little pencils and paper literally the same exact way week after week, the way he only wore the most boring of blue button downs, and the way he would hide from eye contact after only 4 seconds... MAX...I really liked his ocd-ness. BUT and there's always a but here...I never understood his distaste for symmetry. I actually kinda love symmetry...especially when it sorta alters.....knaaaw mean? Sure it's "predictable"...but at the same time sorta hippie staring in a lava lamp mezzzmorizing... zzzz...

buy a cd (who does) and not listen to it till 4 years later?? I do.... JUST got into the rapture's echoes album...I remember being shocked at first that it was so electronic and then never playing it again..(shocking that electronic would shock me)... somehow made its way into my itunes and here we are. Hypnotized by a few tracks like it was just yesterday.... i really REALLY need to leave my room
